Clockwork Angel Re-read reveiw.

 around

Fristly, I would just really like to apologise for not posting … again … And I’m not going to come up with some excuse why I didn’t post … I just didn’t.

So, moving on with the review. As you know (by the title,) this is a re-read. This series —well, all Cassandra Clare books really — is my favourite to re-read. I just can’t get enough of them.

Also, if you’ve read these books do comment down below whether you enjoyed them, or are as obsessed as me!

Cassandra Clare books in general:

I’d like to start with the characters. I don’t know what it is, but I find that all of Cassandra Clare’s books have brilliant character development and you get to ‘know’ the characters. I find that the characters are so detailed almost as if they were real. Everything about them is packaged up in the book and everytime you peel back the layers of wrapping, turn each page, there’s more to discover.

Secondly, ughhhh! These books are so original and no matter how many times I read them, I can read them again! I dont think that I have come across another persons writing that is this detailed and intertwined. Not only that, but her writings interlink so well that you would think that they are real stories being told! As you read them for the first time you -I- don’t really come to realise how much planning would have been put into them, but  … Now I’m in total awe! I can’t even fathom how this was achieved. My mind is literally blown. I think that’s what makes this my favourite series/ Cassandra Clare my favourite author.

Clockwork Angel:

All set in the victorian era, Tessa Gray is following her brother to England, from America. She arrives only to find her brother missing and she’s sucked into a world she never would have thought could exist.

I love the witty comments throughout the series, but iIfind that in this book it’s different as the characters are getting to know eachother, we get to know that characters aswell.

Also, now that I’ve read this book multiple times, I can notice these little things that foreshadow or just little comments that I understand better now that I’ve read the book again. What I find so nice about rereading is that you know what’s going to happen next, but when it does happen it’s still surprising and makes me want to continue reading!
