Hello October: TBR’s, aspirations, and other things…

As it’s the first of October, I wanted to do a post where I share the things I want to do most in October!

My TBR’s:

Dracula – with my reading club we have decided on Dracula and I think that it’s perfect for October! At the moment I’m not reallly in the mood for Halloween *whole world gasps* but I think that this book will make me want it to come sooner, I hope 😂!

A Torch Against The Night – So I read the book before this one (An Ember In The Ashes) , as you may know by how much I’ve beeen blabbing on about it, and I loved it so so so much!! I’ve asked for this book for my birthday, so hopefully I’ll get it, if not, I’ll use whatever money I have to buy it as I think that if I don’t read it soon, I may start to hyperventilate!

Crooked Kingdom – I’m currently reading Six Of Crows, and I love it! I wanted to finish it by today, but I’m still only just past halfway! It’s brilliant, but there is a lot to process, and understand, so I’m reading it slowly. At the moment I am loving Matthias and Nina!

Aspirations:

  1. To Blog At Leat 3 Times Per Week – towards the end of September I was blogging so much more and it was so great and hopefully I can keep it up and blog a whole lot more this month!
  2. To Keep A Bullet Journal – I haven’t got the “proper” bullet journal, but I decided before buying one I would make a make-shift one for Oct, Nov, and Dec, see if I use it / like bullet journaling and see if it actually helps me stay organised and if it does, buy one towards the end of the year!
  3. Stay Organised – I want to stay organised with my homeworks to decrease my stress levels and have an easier time at school! Hopefully I can do most of my homework the night it’s set and then be able to move more chilled weekends where I can just blog, or read a lot. I also want to have set blogging days, if I can’t blog everyday, so that my blog is organised too.
  4. To Post More On Instagram – I posted hardly anything this month on my Instagram. What I would like to do is take 7 photos each weekend, so that if I don’t have the time to take a photo and edit it, I can post one without all the hassle!

Other Things…

I want to get my skin CLEAR! At the moment I’m not happy with it at all and I want that to change. Related to that, I don’t want to wear as much makeup, especially to school, as I’d rather just wear a little and then if I go out at the weekend, wear a little more. I feel that at the moment I’m not wearing it because I want to, it’s just a default thing in the morning. Though this week, as my skin has been so bad, I’ve only been putting Mascara and filling me eyebrows in a bit, and I actually like NOT having anything else on my skin. Is this just me?

I want to revise more. Even if I don’t have a test. I think what I’ll start doing is re-visit what I did the day before in my subjects briefly so that it stays in my mind a bit more and then revisit it again before my next lesson to get a better understanding.

I want to get back into Yoga! Last year I was super into Yoga, but then I stopped, I don’t even know why, but recently I’ve been doing some in the morning. I’ve found that I feel way more refreshed in the mornings after doing just 15-20 minutes of Yoga. Hopefully I can keep this up!

I realise now that I want to achieve quite a lot this month, hopefully if I can stay organised I can achieve most of it! What do you want to achieve this month?

Also, please let me know if you think I should do more posts like this one,

        1. I will check out your review now! Lots of people are saying that ATATN isn’t as gruesome as AEITA, though I’m interested to see what happens!

  1. Your TBR sounds awesome! I’m desperate to read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, however I cannot seem to find either anywhere 😭😭😭 Please do tell me if you recommend it or not!

    1. I totally recommend it! Personally I love it, however the person I’m buddy reading it with has found it really hard to get into the book. There’s a lot of background info that happens along with the story and slows it down somewhat, but the depth, I find, makes it a really good read, especially as you get to know the characters really well really early on.
For finding the books, amazon has Six of Crows, I’m not sure if Crooked Kingdom has come out yet, but if you can get Amazon delivery where you live, check out Amazon 🙂

        1. You should!! I really don’t want this book to end because that means i wont be able to continue the story until I get Crooked Kingdoms!! I can’t go without them for that long!!!
