APRIL WRAP UP.

(AND I SUCK BECAUSE I DIDN’T DO ONE LAST MONTH)

oOKAYY.

IT seems like its been forever since I did a wrap-up-thing-me-bobby but I thought that this means it would be a good chance to change things upalilbit. So the past month has been like,,,, pretty exciting even though NOTHHHING has really happened.

Aril was actually a really good reading month for me, despite only really having 3 weeks to read—which I’ll talk about later—I still managed to get three books read. Which isn’t LOAAAADSSSS, IKKKKK, but it’s still okay for me. Usually I four/five when I have the full month to just reaaaadddd, so three isn’t too bad.

I must admit, I’ve been really lazy with reading at the moment. I keep pushing it back and finding excuses or just being too emotionally drained to read, or just haven’t wanted to, point blank. Which is really sad, since (IK this sounds cliché) reading is such a big part of my life and when I was younger and all this shit in my family was going down I would read. And it almost felt as if I was losing that part of my life, but I’m sort of getting it back.

So the books I read this month:

  1. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.
  2. One Memory of Flora Banks.
  3. Rebel of the Sands.
  4. Edited: Traitor to the Throne (review next month)

  • So from the 24-28th of this month I was doing work-experience (WEX) at the Library. I KNOWWWW:

DREAMS

(hence little time to read)

I was arriving at the town where the library is as 8:10 every morning and not getting home until 18:15 (ish). It was a really great experience, despite how tired I was connnnstantly, but EVERYONE there was reallyreallyreally nice and sososososo sweet. Some were even trying to get me to apply for a Saturday job there which was SOOO SWEET. There was one lady working there (Susan) and she was so lovely. she was the pppperfect grandma.

I got to do Rhyme-time with the little babies and shrgshbjgshg they were all soooo SWWEEEEEETTT AND ADORABLEEEEEE. And on my last day I was asked to lead Story-Time with Rob. AND AGAIIINNNN, SOSOSOSOSOSOSO ADORABLE.

  • I also had only three days of school this month which was FABUUUUULOUSSS to say the least.

And I only have a few weeks left until ANOTHER week off which is always lovely. I had a two week break from school and into the second week I was so sick of the holidays and wanted to get my routine back. I don’t know,,,,, one week holidays are just betterrrr.

  • Also,, I had a bit of an “issue” eating this week and last week, which left me feeling tired and depleted half the time to say the least.

It was—is—very strange, and has gone on for about 2 weeks now. Whenever I eat, I feel incredibly sick and nauseous. Over the past two days I’ve actually eaten like a human being is supposed to, but I’ve felt dreadful afterwards and today I’ve eaten once again and I have the strangest stomach pains. At one point it got to the point where I couldn’t even smell food without feeling like I was going to vomit.

things seem to be getting a bit better, and hopefully it continues to get better.

  1. Ugh that’s really sad about your stomach pains and trouble eating. I’m so sorry for you! I hope you figure out what’s going on soon and it gets better. 😔😔 And oooh I love Rebel of the Sands! SO MUCH FUN SASS! 🎉

  2. That library job sounds amazing!! I’d love to do that if my local libraries every take me on, but I’m not sure if my shy, socially awkward self would be able to handle the pressure😂 Sometimes being in social environments physically exhaust me😔. Anyway, I actually had a question to ask before I started rambling😂 How was the library job? Do you think someone as shy as me would be able to handle it?
