BIRTHDAY BOOK HAUL || MONSTERS & MARIE LU + CAKE.

It feels like I haven’ t blogged in in ages…. IT’S BEEN THREE DAYS. . .

And yes… it was MY BIRTHDAY. NOW EVERYONE BOW AND WORSHIP ME NOW. 

In traditional Cake Queen fashion, I ate a LOT of cake, cake, and more really scrummy cake. . . CAN YOU BLAME ME? What else was I meant to eat…? Veg-i-tables????? Erm no thanks, what even are they??? I SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN. 

SO YES. I actually had a wonderful birthday ad it was my sister’s birthday the day before (14th)! Which I hatteeeee because for ONE day she’s FOUR years older than me and I feel like I should be hating this. #IWantRevenge*. My dad also came up to see us from CORNWALL on the Saturday (my sister’s birthday) and we went Go-karting and HA I BEAT MY SISTERRRRRRRRR. #CompetitiveFamilyKarting.**

Right okay yes where was I.. oh BOOKS right yes.  *COMPOSES*

*what is this about. **WE ARE ALL SO COMPETITIVE.

SOOO I got lots of money, which was super generous of my family / family friends and I actually used this to buy TWO (so I would have bought MORE but I thought… I may need other actual things [I know I only need books to survive what am I saying???] so I should save money??? But this just sounds like nonsense. . . ) of the books in this haul. OKAY. NOW TECHNICALLY*  there are FOUR books in this haul… BUT my mother knows how much I read, so she’s keeping one HOSTAGE for a MONTH to make sure that I don’t read them super fast. Pfftttt like I would do that… BUT HOW DARE SHE KEEP MY FUTURE CHILD FROM ME???? UNBELIEVABLE!!

I don’t understand how she could do this.

So this is the one that I got given and holyyomgokay so I need to just read this RIGHT DAMN NOW. BUT.. .I CAN’T??? bc I’m buddy reading a book with ILSAAAA (which I aim currently LOVING BUT IT CAN’T ENDDDD IT CAN’T LEAVE MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!) 
• WARCROSS. So I couldn’t help myself???? I just??? There are so many books that I wanted to buy… and I actually had to do a poll to decide and this one won.I’ve never read a Marie Lu before* and AHHH SO EXCITEDDDDD. RUEGBEKRBVREKBHVRK;EBGDHJB DHJ BHBVHREADBK. ***
• THE YOUNG ELITES. this series has been on my TBR since FOREVER** and then ILSA screamed at me to buy it and read it (and that I better love Enzo) and WHY NOTTTT??? It sounds REALLY cool… and LOOKY HERE IT MEANS MY TBR IS (s l o w l y) cutting down (as long as I don’t add anymore books. . . ) BUT AHHHH SO EXCITED.

*I know WHY WAS I LIVING UNDER A ROCK…. oh yeah… #INTROVERT.**two years… ** I AM OK.
