WARCROSS REVIEW // MARUE LU WRECKED MY MIND + LOTS OF SCREAMING.

I think that I’m in love and that i should have waited for the next one to be released because I WANT THE NEXT ONE SO BAD CAN I JUST CALM DOWN? NO.   I’ll try. . .

SHE’S FABULOUS. I found her to be a smidge full of herself  at times??? Like, she had 0 self-doubt, which isn’t a BAD thing, but yeh, IT WAS LIKE SHE COULD SO EVERYTHINGGGGG ALL THE TIME AND I’M LIKE. . . SLOW DOWN YEH???

 AWESOME HAIR. Sososososoosososoooooo awesome — it’s RAINBOW COLOURED!! I WANT!!

Sometimes she jumped into things without really thinking about the consequences, but that made the book really INTENSE AND I LIKED THAT???

Speaking of things that I like, I REALLY LIKED THE WORLD I think that it was really well built and explained, and i could picture things so clearly and I don’t even know how this is not a real thing becauseI really want WARCROSS to be a real thing because it sounds so cool and kjregb;rgruirbgbgrbe WHY ISN’T REAL?? MARIE LU YOU BETRAYED MEEEEE.

AND SPEAKING OF FREAKING BETRAYAL. . . THERE’S A HUGE PLOT TWIST AND RGBIRGUBSGRK. I did not see that coming.

There were 3 major plot twists towards the end, I thinkkkk and I only figured out one, but it was still SO SHOCKING AND RGB;SEBGR. There was so much tension and i loved it so much.  

AHHHHHHHHHH Hideo Tanaka. . . At first I thought “who does this guy think he is??? I mean, sure he’s a 21 y/o BILLIONAIRE, but he’s so damn condescending.” I thought that, to put it politely, a schmuck*. However, as we got to know him, i really pitied him and quite quickly I really started to like him. He’s MUCH deeper than he seems, and there’s this sad story from his past and awwww I JUST WANTED TO HUG HIM SO BAD. And in the end. . . I CANT EVEN BECAUSE SPOILERS: (select the space here onwards to reveal)SO MUCH BETRAYAL . . . UgH WHY IS HE SO BAD. . . BUT AT THE SAME TIME I FEEL REALLY BAD BECAUSE HE’S DOING THIS ALL OUT OF FEAR AND I CAN’T REALLY HATE HIM BECAUSE HE’S JUST TRYING TO MAKE THE WORLD SAFE, BUT AT THE  SAME TIME HE’S controlling people!!. . .*(THE HOLIDAY MOVIE REFERENCE!!)

The evil people were brilliant!! Okay Ren, I should hate you but I find you cool, okay?

DID I MENTION THE AMAZING WARCROSS THING??

I did BUT I’M MENTIONING IT AGAIN!! It’s so smart!! And a realistic future?? I ACTUALLY THINK THAT THIS COULD ALL HAPPEN EVENTUALLY. It was so well DEVELOPED AND ORGANISED and you would think that with all the computer / coding stuff you’d get really confused, BUT NO.

AHHH the writing was so fast paced, yet I didn’t get lost, and so lovely to read??? Everything WAS SO CLEAR in my mind the writing was BREATHTAKING and I don’t evenknow how Marie Lu did that. . .  SHE’S A GENIUS.

There was so much FOOD (YUMYUMYUMYUMYUMYUMYUMYMYUMYUMYUM) in this book, I loved it so much. I ate vicariously through the characters. YES, I CAN DO THAT. I’M THAT POWERFUL.There was this little robot that gave everyone their food and it was so adorable. Can someone just send me all the food from this book please??? PLEASE

Little issue: I don’t think that the other side characters were developed enough?? Yes, it would have slowed down the book’s pace a bit… but i think that it would have been really nice to get to know more of the personalities of the other people??? Yehhh that’s like the ONLY slight issue I have with this book. . .
